Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing for customers in a timely and error-free manner.
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional face-to-face and digital customer service, answering questions and resolving inquiries with a smile.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate daily cash drawers and balance cash at the end of each shift to ensure audit compliance.
- Sales & Service: Proactively identify cross-selling opportunities for credit cards, savings accounts, and investment products.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) protocols.
- Problem Resolution: Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate complex issues to the branch manager when necessary.
- Operational Support: Assist in maintaining the lobby environment, organizing marketing materials, and supporting branch operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is a plus; training is provided for the right candidates.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Integrity: Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive financial information with strict confidentiality and ethical judgment.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as required by branch operations.
