Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, handling deposits, and withdrawals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues in a professional manner.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet individual and branch sales goals.
- Assist in the daily balancing of the teller drawer and ensuring strict compliance with all banking regulations.
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and security protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a welcoming and organized branch environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not required for trainees.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to pass a background check and credit check as required for banking positions.
