Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, check cashing, and deposits.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, product information, and resolving basic banking issues.
- Learn and apply knowledge of various banking products, including loans and savings accounts.
- Prepare daily reports and maintain accurate records of all transactions and cash drawers.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote bank products and services to clients.
- Adhere strictly to all banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal policies.
- Provide a welcoming and professional environment for all bank visitors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework in finance or business is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for trainees.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
