What You Will Do:
- Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, and account inquiries.
- Process loan payments and maintain accurate cash drawers.
- Refer customers to financial advisors based on their needs.
- Learn compliance and security regulations under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Transaction Management: Execute daily banking transactions with a high degree of accuracy, including cash handling, check verification, and electronic transfers.
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional face-to-face and telephone service, resolving complaints and answering questions regarding banking products and services.
- Product Education: Inform customers about our savings accounts, CDs, and loan options to help them meet their financial objectives.
- Operational Support: Assist in the maintenance of the lobby, including opening and closing procedures and daily proof work.
- Compliance Adherence: Ensure all transactions comply with federal and state banking regulations and internal security policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree or coursework in Finance is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior banking experience is required; we value attitude and teachability.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and the ability to perform mental arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Attributes: A professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong focus on detail.
- Availability: Must be available to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays.
