Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for customers.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional face-to-face service, answering questions and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Sales Support: Introduce and cross-sell bank products, such as debit cards, savings accounts, and credit lines, to meet branch goals.
- Operational Support: Maintain the lobby area, organize paperwork, and assist in branch security procedures.
- Account Maintenance: Help customers open new accounts and complete necessary paperwork accurately.
- Cash Management: Balance cash drawers at the end of the shift and reconcile transactions.
- Technology: Use banking software and point-of-sale systems to perform daily tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Experience: No prior banking experience required. Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Reliability: Punctual, professional, and dependable work history.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computers and navigating software applications.
- Attitude: A friendly, outgoing demeanor and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
