Job Summary
You will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients while learning the core functions of a bank teller. You will handle cash transactions, assist with account openings, and build relationships with our community members.
Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and resolving issues.
- Introduce and explain our banking products and services to potential clients.
- Operate the teller workstation and software systems (e.g., FIS, TellerWorks) with precision.
- Prepare cash deposits and handle currency counting and verification.
- Balance the cash drawer daily to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies.
- Uphold strict security and compliance standards regarding Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong math skills and the ability to perform cash calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills are required.
- Willingness to obtain required banking licenses and certifications.
