Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Assist in opening new checking and savings accounts and explaining product features to clients.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and ATM machines to facilitate daily operations.
- Balance daily cash drawers and reconcile transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for our suite of financial products and services.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly, escalating complex matters to supervisors when necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- No prior banking experience is necessary; we provide full training.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a professional appearance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch operations.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
