Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and explain banking products and services.
- Cash checks and handle currency and coin with extreme accuracy and security.
- Open new accounts and promote our suite of financial products to meet customer needs.
- Identify and cross-sell products to enhance the customer experience and meet branch goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment at the teller window.
- Collaborate with the branch manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by branch schedules.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to obtain necessary banking licenses and certifications.
