Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing transactions with high accuracy.
- Open new checking and savings accounts, and assist in the closing of existing accounts.
- Assist in maintaining the cash drawer and vault, balancing daily transactions to ensure zero discrepancies.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend credit cards, investments, and insurance products to clients.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to strict bank security protocols, compliance regulations, and internal policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the branch team to meet daily sales goals and service targets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail are essential for handling cash transactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the branch.
- Previous customer service or cash handling experience is a plus but not mandatory for this entry-level position.
