Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service at the teller line, processing deposits, withdrawals, and transfers accurately
- Balance cash drawers daily and maintain strict compliance with banking security protocols
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for bank products (checking accounts, loans, credit cards)
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior staff
- Process loan payments and assist with basic account maintenance tasks
- Participate in ongoing training to master banking systems and regulations
- Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and fraud prevention
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Strong math aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle cash transactions
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, digital banking tools)
- Pass background check and credit check (banking standard)
- Customer service experience preferred but not required
- Availability for flexible shifts including Saturdays
