Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Build lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service and identifying financial needs.
- Assist in the sales and promotion of bank products, such as savings accounts, certificates of deposit, and credit cards.
- Ensure strict adherence to all bank security protocols, compliance regulations, and internal policies.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation, vault management, and branch balancing.
- Utilize the core banking system to update customer accounts and maintain records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field is a plus.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for this trainee position.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic.
