Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to every customer entering the branch and offer immediate assistance.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash checks while adhering to strict compliance and security protocols.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers, balance daily transactions, and ensure the secure handling of cash and negotiable instruments.
- Customer Advisory: Assist customers with account inquiries, explain products clearly, and resolve basic banking issues to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to introduce customers to new accounts, credit cards, and financial services that meet their needs.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and internal policies to protect the bank and customer assets.
- Operational Support: Assist with lobby operations, maintain branch cleanliness, and support other team members during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash handling experience is preferred but not required for our Trainee program.
- Math Skills: Excellent basic math skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to diverse customers.
- Reliability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch needs.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and a willingness to learn new banking software and automated teller systems.
- Integrity: A strong commitment to ethical conduct and the ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
