Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately handle cash, check, and electronic deposits and withdrawals for customers.
- Customer Service: Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service at the teller line and over the phone.
- Account Management: Open new checking and savings accounts, and assist customers with account inquiries and maintenance.
- Sales & Outreach: Cross-sell bank products and services, such as credit cards and loans, to meet branch goals.
- Problem Solving: Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently while adhering to bank compliance policies.
- Accuracy & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations and internal audit standards.
- Cash Management: Reconcile daily cash drawers and balance transactions at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; prior banking or customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory for Trainees.
- Math Skills: Strong attention to detail and proficiency in basic arithmetic and money handling.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills and ability to learn new banking software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and credit check as part of our hiring process.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
