Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional service to all customers by greeting them warmly and assisting with account inquiries, deposits, and withdrawals.
- Cash Management: Accurately process cash and check transactions, balance cash drawers daily, and adhere to strict security and audit protocols.
- Product Promotion: Identify customer needs and proactively cross-sell our financial products, such as debit cards, credit cards, and savings accounts.
- Transaction Accuracy: Maintain precise records of daily activities and resolve discrepancies using standard accounting software and tools.
- Operational Support: Assist in opening new accounts and maintaining branch lobby organization during peak hours.
- Compliance: Ensure all banking procedures comply with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; a degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash handling experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Skills: Strong math skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Background: Must pass a background check, credit check, and pre-employment drug screen.
