What You Will Do:
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash handling, deposits, and withdrawals.
- Greet customers with a smile and provide exceptional service to build lasting relationships.
- Assist customers with account inquiries and explain complex banking products simply.
- Participate in sales initiatives by identifying cross-selling opportunities.
- Adhere to strict security and compliance regulations at all times.
Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately handle daily cash drawers, balances, and reconcile end-of-day reports.
- Customer Service: Welcome customers, answer phones, and resolve account issues efficiently.
- Sales Support: Introduce savings products and credit card offers to meet branch targets.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain branch cleanliness and organize lobby areas.
- Compliance: Follow all AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Bank Secrecy Act protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
