Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and account transfers for customers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding products and services, and resolve account issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to strict security protocols to prevent fraud and ensure the safety of bank assets and personnel.
- Account Maintenance: Assist customers with account opening, loan applications, and monthly statement requests.
- Cash Balancing: Maintain daily cash drawers, perform end-of-day balancing, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Product Promotion: Identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend credit cards, savings accounts, or investment products to meet customer needs.
- Operations Support: Assist the branch manager with daily operations, including ordering supplies and filing.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is highly desired but not mandatory for our trainee program.
- Math Skills: Strong aptitude for mathematics and the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Integrity: Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and adherence to regulatory compliance standards.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedules.
