Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, product information, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile the teller drawer at the end of each shift.
- Identify and cross-sell bank products and services to meet customer needs.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and compliance standards.
- Participate in training sessions and shadowing rotations to enhance technical skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business is a plus but not mandatory.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required for trainees.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
