Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments for customers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and products, and resolve complaints with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers, balance daily transactions, and ensure compliance with all banking security and audit procedures.
- Product Sales: Identify cross-selling opportunities for savings accounts, CDs, credit cards, and loans to meet branch sales targets.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in opening new accounts, processing account closures, and maintaining organized filing systems.
- Compliance: Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash-handling experience is preferred but not mandatory for the trainee position.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math proficiency, and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Character: Professional demeanor, reliability, and a strong commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch operations.
- Legal: Must be able to pass a background check and a credit check as part of the hiring process.
