Responsibilities
- Master complex teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, wire transfers, and currency exchanges
- Deliver exceptional customer service while resolving account inquiries and transaction issues
- Sell premium banking products (CDs, loans, credit cards) to meet monthly targets
- Maintain 100% cash drawer accuracy and daily reconciliation reports
- Adhere to strict compliance protocols including BSA/AML regulations
- Process loan applications and assist with mortgage pre-approvals
- Train on advanced digital banking platforms and mobile services
- Participate in branch marketing campaigns and community outreach events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; finance/business degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years customer service or cash handling experience
- Proficiency in financial software (MS Office, QuickBooks)
- Federal background clearance and credit check required
- FINRA Series 6/63 or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Exceptional mathematical accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
