Job Summary
As a Bank Teller Trainee, you will be the face of our bank, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions. You will work closely with senior staff to develop the skills necessary to succeed in a rewarding banking career.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service at the teller window.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash and check handling with strict attention to detail and compliance.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding account products, services, and procedures.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to help customers meet their financial goals.
- Assist in maintaining the lobby environment and keeping work areas organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous customer service or cash handling experience is a plus but not required for Trainees.
- Strong mathematical and basic accounting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and credit check.
