Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash checks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues with professionalism.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as debit cards, savings accounts, and personal loans, to meet branch sales goals.
- Handle cash and non-cash transactions with strict adherence to branch compliance and security regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming teller line area to ensure a superior customer experience.
- Identify financial needs of customers and refer them to appropriate specialists for complex matters.
- Assist in opening new accounts and maintaining customer records in the banking system.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is preferred but not required for this Trainee role.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to operate a 10-key calculator with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as a condition of employment.
