Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding products and services, and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing transactions using our state-of-the-art banking systems.
- Cash Management: Maintain and balance cash drawers daily, ensuring strict adherence to security protocols and audit standards.
- Sales & Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell our suite of financial products, including credit cards, savings accounts, and investment options, to meet branch goals.
- Compliance & Security: Adhere to all banking regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) policies, and internal security procedures to protect both the bank and the customer.
- Administrative Support: Assist with opening new accounts, processing new hire paperwork, and maintaining accurate customer records in our CRM systems.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or cash-handling experience preferred, but we value attitude and aptitude over experience for this Trainee role.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude with the ability to perform complex calculations quickly and accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as banking hours vary by location.
- Technology: Proficient in navigating computer systems and learning new software applications with ease.
