Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly and professionally, addressing inquiries regarding products and services with patience and accuracy.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing transactions using state-of-the-art banking software.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers, reconcile daily transactions, and adhere to strict federal and internal banking regulations.
- Sales & Growth: Identify cross-selling opportunities to introduce customers to our suite of financial products, including credit cards and savings accounts.
- Compliance: Uphold strict anti-money laundering (AML) policies and verify customer identity in compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Problem Solving: Resolve customer account discrepancies and escalate complex issues to the Branch Manager promptly.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous customer service or retail experience preferred; Entry-level candidates with strong work ethics are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and proficiency in basic math and arithmetic.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Technology: Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new banking systems quickly.
