Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and professionally, answering questions and resolving concerns to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing transactions using bank software and cash drawers.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers, balance daily transactions, and reconcile discrepancies to ensure strict financial accuracy.
- Sales & Service: Identify cross-selling opportunities for savings accounts, credit cards, and other financial products to meet branch goals.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist in maintaining the lobby environment, managing the night depository, and organizing branch paperwork.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, regulatory requirements, and security procedures during every interaction.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Previous cash handling experience or customer service experience is a plus, but not required for our Trainee program.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills with the ability to handle large sums of cash accurately.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays.
- Integrity: Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
