Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 99.9% accuracy
- Deliver exceptional service by resolving account inquiries and proactively offering banking solutions
- Safeguard cash assets and maintain compliance with federal banking regulations (Reg CC, BSA)
- Operate core banking systems (Fiserv, Jack Henry) and assist with digital banking platforms
- Conduct preliminary account openings and cross-sell basic bank products
- Participate in daily branch audits and reconciliation procedures
- Support community outreach initiatives and financial literacy programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance preferred
- Basic math proficiency and cash handling experience (retail/restaurant acceptable)
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems beneficial
- Ability to stand 6-8 hours and lift coin cassettes (20 lbs max)
- Pass criminal background check and credit check (minimum 600 score)
- Must complete 4-day weekend orientation prior to start date
