Responsibilities
- Perform daily cash handling tasks, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their financial needs.
- Process transactions using the bank's automated systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in cross-selling bank products and services to enhance customer relationships.
- Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Operate teller terminals and other banking equipment.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework is a plus.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and credit check (where applicable).
- Willingness to learn new banking software and procedures quickly.
