Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cashing checks, processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their financial needs and answer inquiries.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) terminal and banking equipment efficiently and securely.
- Assist in identifying cross-selling opportunities for savings accounts, credit cards, and investment products.
- Balance cash drawers and daily reports to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with banking regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming teller line area.
- Uphold strict security protocols and confidentiality standards at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or prior banking experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately and with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
