About the Role:
As a Bank Teller Trainee, you will be the face of Metro City Bank, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth processing of daily financial transactions. We value integrity, accuracy, and a customer-first mindset.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional assistance regarding their banking needs.
- Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cash checks accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Accurately balance cash drawers and daily transactions at the end of each shift.
- Introduce and explain bank products and services to potential clients to help them grow their wealth.
- Assist in maintaining the lobby area to ensure a welcoming and organized environment.
- Adhere to all federal and state banking regulations and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience is a plus but not required for trainees.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform basic calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and POS systems; ability to learn new banking software quickly.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
- Must be detail-oriented and trustworthy.
