About the Role:
As a Bank Teller Trainee, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service to our clients while learning the ropes of retail banking. You will work under the mentorship of experienced professionals to develop the skills necessary for a successful banking career.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Cash checks and handle cash drawers with a focus on accuracy and strict adherence to security protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues.
- Educate customers on our products and services to drive sales and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records and daily reconciliation of the teller drawer.
- Assist with branch operations, including opening/closing duties and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Identify and escalate potential security risks or suspicious activities immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proven reliability, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn banking software quickly.
