Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with EU AI Act, NIST standards, and emerging global regulations
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning models and datasets
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycles
- Lead stakeholder consultations including policymakers, industry consortiums, and civil society groups
- Design transparency mechanisms for AI decision-making processes and explainability protocols
- Establish continuous monitoring systems for ethical compliance in deployed AI systems
- Produce actionable ethics reports and influence product roadmaps based on ethical risk assessments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, Law, or related field with 3+ years AI governance experience
- Deep expertise in AI ethics frameworks (FAIR, Responsible AI, Algorithmic Accountability Act)
- Proven experience conducting bias audits and implementing fairness metrics in ML systems
- Familiarity with global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, OECD AI Principles)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical teams
- Published research or industry contributions to AI ethics discourse preferred
- Experience with cross-functional ethics committees and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis in ethical assessments
