Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy framework aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling next-gen solutions (AI, quantum computing, sustainable tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for future-facing innovations
- Mentor junior innovation specialists and foster a culture of creative risk-taking
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or futures research
- Proven track record of launching market-disrupting technologies or business models
- Expertise in emerging tech trends: AI ethics, climate tech, quantum applications, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Futures Studies
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., PDMA, CMI) preferred
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets and managing cross-continental teams
- Presentation skills for executive audiences and stakeholder engagement mastery
