Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 technology foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis
- Produce quarterly strategic foresight reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for C-suite and board members
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for emerging technology validation
- Represent FutureVision at global futurist forums and industry thought leadership events
- Mentor a team of 3-5 futurist researchers and junior strategists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: quantum computing, AGI ethics, bio-convergence, and climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
- Professional certification in Foresight (e.g., CFM from Association of Professional Futurists)
