Join our Austin-based innovation hub where you'll lead cross-disciplinary teams to identify paradigm shifts, develop scenario-based models, and embed future-proofing into our DNA. You'll report directly to our Chief Strategy Officer and influence $2B+ in R&D allocation across our emerging verticals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026-2030 strategic foresight framework
- Lead horizon scanning for quantum, biotech, and climate tech disruptions
- Design scenario-planning models for 5+ year market transformations
- Partner with C-suite to embed future-readiness across all business units
- Author quarterly trend reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Champion innovation sprints with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University partners
- Mentor the next generation of futurists through our Nexus Academy
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech or future trends
- Expertise in scenario planning and systems thinking methodologies
- Experience with quantum/biotech/climate tech ecosystems
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into executable roadmaps
- PhD or MBA from top-tier institution with futures studies focus
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on multi-billion dollar strategic pivots
