Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech) and map their commercial implications
- Develop 5-10 year strategic scenarios for Fortune 500 clients across healthcare, finance, and manufacturing
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and policymakers to co-create future-proof solutions
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces published in MIT Tech Review and Nature Futures
- Build predictive models using proprietary AI platforms to forecast market disruptions
- Advocate for ethical frameworks governing next-gen technologies at global forums
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts while maintaining thought leadership credentials
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Foresight (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic consulting, R&D innovation, or policy development
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing C-level decisions
- Deep understanding of global megatrends (demographic shifts, climate resilience, geopolitical realignment)
