Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic scenarios for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state roadmaps
- Produce evidence-based trend reports with 3-5 year predictive horizons
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Represent the company at global foresight conferences and thought leadership forums
- Maintain a competitive intelligence ecosystem tracking innovation hotspots
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven experience developing long-range scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in futures research methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, etc.)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in foresight or strategy publications
- Portfolio of 2020-2025 predictive models with validated outcomes
