Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast industry landscapes through 2026
- Develop and maintain the company's 5-year strategic foresight framework with quarterly scenario updates
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future opportunities and threats
- Produce forward-looking reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and investors
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, partnerships, and market entry strategies
- Collaborate with R&D to prioritize innovation initiatives aligned with future market demands
- Monitor competitor roadmaps and disruptor activities to maintain competitive advantage
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy (white papers, journals, conferences)
