Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate tech, biotech convergence) to inform 5-10 year strategic frameworks
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies including quantum computing and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to align organizational vision with future market shifts
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Report' with actionable recommendations for board-level decision making
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Represent company at Davos, TED, and World Economic Forums as a thought leader
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Foresight (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic consulting or corporate innovation with Fortune 500 exposure
- Published author or keynote speaker on exponential technologies or future scenarios
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and causal layered analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-proofing initiatives for major enterprises
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trend Hunter)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell, OECD)
