Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global trends, technologies, and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for future-proofing product portfolios and market positioning
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for disruptive innovations and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present future-focused insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic initiatives' success
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven track record of developing actionable future scenarios for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., WFS, CFS) strongly preferred
