Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using predictive analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and systemic risks
- Produce executive-level trend reports with actionable recommendations for strategic pivots
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer emerging technologies
- Design and implement a 'Future Radar' system to monitor global innovation signals
- Champion ethical innovation practices across all future-facing initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists to cultivate next-generation strategic thinking capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences and global stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar body)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
