This role demands intellectual curiosity, systems thinking, and the ability to navigate ambiguity with precision.
Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for disruptive technologies and societal shifts through quantitative/qualitative research
- Develop 2026 strategic scenarios using trend analysis and predictive modeling
- Design innovation frameworks for clients adopting Web4, quantum computing, and synthetic biology
- Lead executive workshops on future-proofing business models and organizational resilience
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership on metaverse economics and AI governance
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Mentor junior strategists in futurist methodologies and systems thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech strategy
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or trend analysis (2020+)
- Expertise in exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi method, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis
- Experience advising C-suite on digital transformation and disruptive innovation
- Strong communication skills with ability to translate complexity to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurist or tech innovation forums
