Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market disruptors, and paradigm shifts affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and publish annual Future State reports with strategic recommendations for board-level decision-making
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainability trends
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor global policy/regulatory shifts impacting technological adoption
- Present foresight frameworks to investors and key stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or technology foresight with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercialized products/services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: Generative AI, Web3, AR/VR, climate tech, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or Technology Innovation
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analyses or scenario planning projects
