Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive market opportunities post-2025
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with predictive analytics and scenario planning
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in our Innovation Lab
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems and neurotech integration
- Represent FutureWorks at global futurism forums and tech policy summits
- Mentor junior futurists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years experience in corporate foresight or innovation strategy
- Deep expertise in emerging tech convergence patterns (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology ethics
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Certification in scenario planning (e.g., Shell Methodology)
- Experience with predictive modeling tools and horizon scanning methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 implemented future-proofing initiatives
