Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps by identifying quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence opportunities
- Lead moonshot innovation projects with $10M+ budgets, from concept to market validation
- Partner with C-suite to align futuristic initiatives with 5-year business strategy
- Establish global think tanks to scout and integrate breakthrough technologies
- Develop patent portfolios for next-gen solutions in sustainable tech and neuro interfaces
- Present disruption scenarios to investors and board members
- Mentor a team of futurists and technical architects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or venture capital
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum systems, synthetic biology, or AGI frameworks
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Harvard/MIT/Stanford PhD in relevant field or equivalent experience
- Experience securing $50M+ in innovation funding
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon scanning)
