Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, ensuring a welcoming and efficient shopping experience.
- Assist customers with product selection, answering questions, and processing transactions at the point of sale.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store appearance.
- Handle cash register operations, including accurately processing payments and balancing the till at the end of the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure store operations run smoothly during peak weekend hours.
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention protocols.
Qualifications
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with availability for rotating shifts.
- High school diploma or GED (or currently pursuing one).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new point-of-sale (POS) systems quickly.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
