As a Weekend Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store runs smoothly and our customers leave happy. You will work weekends, providing you with valuable time during the week for school or other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers with a smile, answering questions and providing product recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment by stocking shelves, folding merchandise, and keeping the sales floor presentable.
- Point of Sale (POS): Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system, handling various payment methods with precision.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counts, receiving shipments, and organizing stockrooms to ensure product availability.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and management to support daily store goals and special promotions.
- Problem Solving: Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally, escalating complex matters to the store manager when necessary.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Experience: No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new POS systems quickly.
