Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and ensure accurate inventory records within the warehouse.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (after certification), and conveyor systems to move materials.
- Truck Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trailers in a timely manner, ensuring cargo safety and proper documentation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage before packing and ensure all outgoing orders meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Flexible availability including weekends and holidays is a plus.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic computer literacy and comfort with handheld scanning devices.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
