Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems to move inventory within the facility.
- Process Orders: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all labeling and documentation is correct.
- Inventory Control: Perform regular stock counts, cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and company standards.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production goals and ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Reliability: Must demonstrate punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic and reading labels/schematics.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
