Responsibilities
- Receive and Inspect Shipment: Unload trucks and verify incoming inventory against packing slips.
- Stock and Organize: Place new stock in the correct storage locations and organize warehouse shelves efficiently.
- Pick and Pack Orders: Accurately select items for customer orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory counts and reporting discrepancies.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (after certification), and hand trucks.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and a drive to learn new skills quickly.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfort with basic arithmetic for counting inventory and handling money.
- Reliability: Punctual attendance and a history of dependability.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
