Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing domains
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market evolution
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops with 20+ stakeholders from engineering to marketing
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership boards using data-driven visualizations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Author annual 'Future State' reports distributed to Fortune 500 partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation initiatives
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Experience working in agile environments with rapid prototyping cycles
