Responsibilities
- Conduct consultative sales meetings with potential clients to identify their equipment needs and budget requirements.
- Perform live product demonstrations using the equipment provided by the company to showcase features and benefits.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers to ensure long-term rental contracts.
- Manage daily inventory checks, ensuring all demonstration units are clean, operational, and ready for client viewing.
- Process rental agreements, payments, and returns efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely delivery and setup of equipment at job sites.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and competitor pricing to remain competitive.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the construction industry is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate and demonstrate standard construction equipment (e.g., power tools, generators, small machinery).
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-experts.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building rapport and trust.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays during peak seasons.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
